I was leaving school today and as I was starting the jaguar. I turned the key and the starter grabbed and the car fires right up. I was literally stuck for like 3 seconds with the started engaging just thinking “woah”. Because normally the starting procedure requires cycling the key like 5 times to get it to fire because the cold start system never worked properly on it

My car takes like a fraction of a second longer than you expect a car to take to start so you reflexively let go of the key like right as it’s grabbing and then it dies and you have to start over.

I have a Toyota. It turns over the same amount and starts in the same time. Every time.
